SC INTERNSHIP STORIES
DETAILS
TO SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS WE HAVE THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

Have complete JOIN (click here for details!)
Commit to at least 20 hours/week (including hours served on Sunday mornings!)
The required days are Sundays 8am-1pm and Mondays from 9-1pm.

The remaining hours can be completed with flexibilty according to your schedule from Mon-Thurs 9AM-4PM
TRANSPORTATION:

We highly encourage you to have a reliable form of transportation due to all the responsibilities you will be owning.
SCHOOL CREDIT:
​
School credit might be available for those who are interested! We can partner with your school to help you meet the requirements.
PAYMENT:
​
This is an unpaid opportunity focused on developing you, your leadership and your spiritual growth!
70% of your time will be spent running side by side with one staff leader!
​
You will be completing assignments for the department you are assigned to, meeting and loving on the serve team and helping staff own and manage projects and events while you gain experience in ministry and grow your leadership skills!
30% of your time will be spent with all the other interns as a class!
​
You will participate in various activities that encourage teamwork and push you to keep growing in your walk with God, in your personal development and in your leadership!
DEPARTMENTS
SERVICES
(PRODUCTION, TECH, WORSHIP)
This department is responsible for all things happening for service in auditorium and online. Production, tech, worship, screens, audio, lights and cameras teams work together to bring the vision of our pastors to reality in every single service! If you are an intern in this department you will work alongside one of our staff leaders by loving on serve team, managing and executing services
NEXT GEN
(LITTLES, BIGS, J HIGH, HIGH SCHOOL)
This department is responsible for all things related to our next generation from 6 weeks old to seniors in high school. Our LITTLES, BIGS, JHIGH and HIGH SCHOOL teams raise up the leaders of our future while locking eyes with them and meeting them where they are. If you are an intern in this department you will work alongside one of our staff leaders helping with event planning, loving on serve team, bringing ideas to the curriculum, scheduling leaders and setting up for Sundays.
SERVE TEAM
(JOIN, CONNECT GROUPS)
JOIN and Connect Groups are the front door of our church! This department loves and equips our serve team on the journey to becoming Christ-like leaders. Our heart is that our team would be the most loved and equipped team on the planet. These teams plus Serve Team Central bring owners on the journey by connecting with the one to ensure they are planted in community and becoming the best version of themselves. If you are an intern in this department you will work alongside one of our staff leaders reaching out to new owners, connecting them to the teams they will be serving on, and ensuring current team members feels seen and known throughout the season.
CREATIVE
(SOCIAL MEDIA, ENVIRONMENTS, COMMUNICATIONS)
This department oversees the feel and details behind everything of our house. Every content and guest experience is intentionally considered in the details by environments and communications teams to make sure every single person comigo through the doors feels honored! If you are an intern in this department you will work alongside one of our staff leaders assisting with language approval for texts, social media posts, lobby decorations, photography, event planning, bringing ideas for new set ups and overall guest experience in Sundays and events.
FACILITIES
This department oversees the function of every room of our house. They bring the vision to life through caring for our buildings, creating our photo walls, and maintains our spaces with excellence. If you are an intern in this department you will work alongside one of our staff leaders raising up teams, creating environments and meeting the needs of the building to make sure every guest feels loved and has a good experience in our home.
ONLINE
This department is responsible for our online campus, which includes the transmission of online services on Sundays or special events, online connect groups, online serve team, connections, and next steps. If you are an intern in this department you will run alongside one of our staff leaders raising up leaders, connecting with leaders online, reaching out to serve team and ensuring a great Sunday service experience to everyone that is part of our online community!
FRISCO CAMPUS
We are one house with many rooms! Our Frisco campus is located at 10625 N. County Rd. Frisco. If you are an intern in this campus you will work alongside one of our staff leaders raising up new leaders, meeting any needs the campus might have and supporting the campus pastors in JOIN, Next Gen, services and loving on people.
