At Shoreline City, it is our desire to provide students with another way to bring Heaven to Earth through higher education. We are thrilled to carry out this desire through our partnership with Southeastern University by offering students affordable degree programs. Classes are offered online through SEU, while simultaneously immersing you in the culture of Shoreline City. While participating in SEU's online format, you will interact with your fellow students in person here at our White Rock campus Monday - Thursday from approximately 10am - 3pm (schedule subject to change). You will also be involved in Practicum Experiences designed specifically for you and your ministerial interests.
Shoreline City College is a ministry of Shoreline City Church. Southeastern University (Lakeland, FL) partners with Shoreline City Church to host an instructional site on the church campus, and offer students affordable degree programs.

While attending Shoreline City College, you will not only gain practical ministry experience at Shoreline City Church, but you will also have the opportunity to pursue a degree from Southeastern University. Our goal is to develop culture-carrying leaders by immersing you in our culture, reflective leadership experiences and biblical understanding.
These programs include 30 credit hours of online coursework per year, facilitated at Shoreline City College White Rock campus, that also includes 12 credit hours of practicum for Shoreline City Church (6 credit hours a year) over the course of the program.

In addition to your academic program, you will choose a practicum that is dedicated to a specific area of focus. It is our heart for you to practically apply being the church in the world by going into the marketplace and leading others in the workplace through morals, attitudes, mindsets and overall culture learned at Shoreline City College.Through this hands-on ministry training, you will gain practicum credit toward your degree program.
MINISTRIES THAT HELP US CONNECT TO ONE ANOTHER.
Interns who choose this practicum area will spend time exploring the various means by which Shoreline City creates opportunities for owners to connect with other owners or to bring others into the Shoreline family. Activities will range from curriculum design to event management, and focus on events for men, women, and mixed groups within and outside of the church.
Students with a bent toward people and outreach activities will enjoy and appreciate the Connect practicum. Service areas include: Welcome to Shoreline, Sisterhood, Connect Groups, Linemen, Missions/Outreach, and Special Events.
MINISTRIES THAT EXPRESS THE GOSPEL IN WORD, PICTURE AND SONG.
Interns who choose this practicum area will spend time exploring the many means by which Shoreline City proclaims the gospel. Activities will range from creative design, social media campaigns, to audio/video production and/or serving alongside the worship team.
Students with a bent toward creative expression will enjoy and appreciate the Creative practicum. Service areas include Worship, Graphics and Communications.
MINISTRIES THAT ENSURE THE NUTS AND BOLTS ARE IN TUNE AND WORKING.
Interns who choose this practicum area will spend time exploring the operational means that Shoreline City uses to oversee and support the various ministries. Activities will range from project management to general administration and support. Students with a bent toward leadership and management will enjoy and appreciate the Operations practicum. Service areas include: Special Projects, Facilities, Hospitality, Administration and Security.
MINISTRIES FOCUSED ON RAISING UP THE FUTURE LEADERS OF THE CHURCH.
Interns who choose this practicum area will spend time exploring the ins and outs of ministering to children and youth (age < 18). Activities will range from teaching to volunteer coordination and security. More than "mere" babysitting, this area includes creating a thriving atmosphere in which evangelism and discipleship can occur at age-appropriate levels.
Students with a bent toward teaching and training, as well as relational discipleship will enjoy and appreciate the Next Generation Practicum. Service areas include: Littles, Bigs, Middle School and Youth.
Southeastern University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees. Shoreline City College is not accredited by SACS Commission on Colleges and the accreditation of Southeastern University does not extend to or include Shoreline City College or its students. Students must be admitted by Southeastern University and enrolled in university courses to receive the benefits of regional accreditation.
